March 29, 2009: Lost Snowboard!

Mt. Tremblant, Canada – Finally made it to Mt. Tremblant, about an hour and a half north of Montreal and site of the Nor-Am Finals. Unfortunately my snowboard bag didn’t make the flight, and that was after Air France charged me an extra 30 euros to make sure it was on the connecting flight! But I was told that it will arrive tomorrow evening so hopefully it’ll all work out. That means I won’t be able to freeride tomorrow, but I don’t mind giving my body an extra day of rest. It’s pretty exhausted from the 20 hours of traveling in a car, plane and bus.

Unfortunately the weather is less than desirable for racing. It’s raining and extremely windy here and the snow seems very sparse. But we’ll just make do with the conditions we have and hope for the best!
